In 2019, the Ministry of Environment noted that the volume of waste in Indonesia had reached 67 million tons. Meanwhile, 60% of it comes from organic waste. Most of them are processed as compost. However, it is not enough. Several processing options can be done including to process it into clean energy for cooking, such as mini-home biogas (BIOMIRU). Untreated organic waste can pollute or clog waterways and release carbon emission gases that contribute to global warming.
To get BIOMIRU utilization points, prospective users only need land with an area of 2-6 m2. With this technology calculation scheme, BIOMIRU has a principle, namely, from the kitchen back to the kitchen.
