Bio-Slurry Benefits
Biogas is an example of alternative sustainable energy capable of integrating agriculture and animal husbandry while addressing environmental problems. Apart from clean, economical, and environmentally friendly biogas, it also produces bio-slurry, bringing benefits to livestock and plants.
These bio-slurry benefits are due to the nutrients contained in the bio-slurry due to the natural fermentation process that occurs. The biogas fermentation process for producing bio-slurry can make several nutrients needed by livestock to soil and plants. Among others, it consists of macronutrients and micronutrients. Macronutrients consist of Nitrogen (N), Phosphorous (P), Potassium (K), Calcium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg), and Sulfur (S). Meanwhile, nutrients consist of Iron (Fe), Manganese (Mn), Copper (Cu), and Zinc (Zn).
